History of the Cambridge United v Huddersfield Town fixture

Cambridge U. prepare to entertain Huddersfield Town at Abbey Stadium on Saturday evening, hoping to break their duck against the visitors. Though past meetings have resulted in more draws than losses for U's.

The most recent encounter between these two sides at Abbey Stadium was two seasons ago, in March 2002, with Huddersfield inflicting a narrow 0-1 defeat upon the U's in a League Division Two match.

Recent respective form guides

Cambridge United's poor home run has seen them win just 1 and draw 2 of the last six. While U's have scored 6, a worringly large 12 have been leaked at the other end.

Huddersfield's away form is none too clever either, accumulating just 1 victory and 1 draw from their last six played. While the Terriers have hit 6 goals, 16 have hit the back of the wrong net.

Cambridge U. see themselves just below half way in the Nationwide League Division Three, showing a record of 30 points from their 25 games played so far, Huddersfield lie just outside the playoff positions in the Nationwide League Division Three, picking up 40 from their 25 games so far.
