United old boy, Jermaine Easter, made a name for himself tonight by scoring the equalising goal against Premiership champions Chelsea in the first leg of the Carling Cup semi final.

Easter controlled well to slide the ball past Hilario from a Tommy Mooney flick on.

It means Easter has now scored in every round of the competition.

The match finished 1-1 with the second leg to be played at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday 23rd January.

Shame he wasn't good enough to make the grade at United........
