A summary of the last two Cambridge United games.

Writers note: My apologies for no full report, im currently on holiday in Ireland and therefore are unable to write the full reports however things will be back to normal by saturdays game.

The slow start to Cambridge United's season continued with draws again Southport and Tamworth, 0-0 and 1-1 respectively. Leaving United with just 3 points from the first 4 games of the season. Saturdays match against Southport was very much a case of so much pressure yet no end result with United coming close on a number of occasions, and Martin Ling's 'frustrating' was a perfect summary of the game. Tuesday nights trip to Tamworth looked to be the first victory of the season after Danny Wright gave United the lead early in the second half however a failure to kill off 'The Lambs' resulted in a late equaliser which should really have been easily dealt with by the Cambridge defence. Two somewhat disappointing results but positive signs at the beginning of a potentionally promising season.
