Cambridge are looking good and confident ahead of the season opener away at Wrexham
The U's play their first game of the season away at Wrexham tomorrow. It looks like it will be a tough encounter for United with Wrexham making some star signings over the summer and look to be one of the sides who should be looking towards the top of the table come next May.
Recent encounters between the two sides have generally been very closely fought with last seasons games ending in a 2-0 victory to the U's and a brave comeback earning a 2-2 draw away from home after being 2-0 down with just minutes to go. United haven't won away to Wrexham in a decade, however new signing Adam Miller certainly looks to be one that can help bring to an end that poor record in Wales. As always United will have strong support following them to Wrexham and the general feeling around the club is very optimistic.
